At G 2/3 Island Warriors Marine Support & Outreach, we help Marines stay connected to the brothers and sisters who stood beside them in uniform. Through retreats, memorial gatherings, and direct support, we create space for connection, healing, and community that lasts long after service.
Your support keeps that connection alive.
Our mission is to reconnect Marines from Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines and provide opportunities for fellowship, support, and renewed purpose. Between 1942 and 2022, nearly 16,000 Marines served in Golf Company. As these veterans age, many face increasing isolation and loss of connection with the men they once served beside.
The largest number of veteran suicides occur among veterans between the ages of 55 and 74. In 2022, veterans age 55 and older accounted for approximately 60 percent of all veteran suicides. We believe that reconnecting veterans with those who shared their military experiences can help combat isolation, restore purpose, and remind veterans they are not alone.
Each year, we work to fully fund two retreats for the Marines of Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, while also stepping in to support individual Marines facing challenging times, medical issues, and personal goals.

For nearly 80 years, Marines served with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines. They trained together, deployed together, and built bonds that lasted a lifetime. Yet as the years pass, distance, family obligations, careers, health challenges, and the loss of fellow Marines can leave many veterans feeling isolated and disconnected.
G 2/3 Island Warriors Marine Support & Outreach was created to bring those connections back.
As a 501(c)(19) Veterans Service Organization, a federally recognized nonprofit created specifically to serve veterans, we help reconnect Marines through retreats, gatherings, outreach programs, peer support, and opportunities to preserve the legacy of Golf Company. These events provide a lifeline for veterans who may be struggling with isolation, loss of purpose, or the challenges that often come with aging and life after military service.
Research continues to show that strong social connections play a critical role in mental health and suicide prevention. Our mission is simple: rebuild brotherhood, strengthen connection, and ensure that no Marine is left behind.
